SECTOR SKILLS SERVICE : Overview

The aim of the Sector Skills Service is to move people into employment within various sectors of industry. This is achieved through offering impartial IAG interviews, arranging work experience placements & work based learning, offering CV & reference assistance and tracking customers progress through to employment.

The Sector Skills Service is a FREE service that relies upon public sector funding. In partnership with the key stakeholders and using government funding the service aims to reduce the number of people on benefits and seeking employment.
