COMPANY : Overview

AB1 Group Limited, founded in 1999, are specialists in providing advisory services and work based training with the aim of moving people into sustained employment. In June 2007 AB1 were accredited by Matrix for meeting the national quality standard for information, advice and guidance services.

AB1 are committed to primarily helping the unemployed and through their Sector Skills Service provide people with a free comprehensive IAG service. The Sector Skills Service can also offer a limited number of much sort after work experience opportunities. See www.sectorskillsservice.com for further details. AB1 can either offer any required training themselves or signpost people to other training when it is felt this would be beneficial to them.

AB1 are an OCR approved NVQ provider and offer people the chance of obtaining NVQ's in Information Technology and Customer Services.

Innovative services and professional delivery methods have won AB1 many UK public sector contracts and allowed them to form many key strategic partnerships. AB1 work on many Learning Skills Council funded projects and have a comprehensive understanding of the national network of stakeholders within the Educational sector. AB1 are fully committed to meeting the training needs as laid down in the Governments Leitch Report.
